In Tatte’s Hands

Uriah was a lighthouse: a lighthouse  for the balanced response of a Yid to  suffering. Uriah underwent tremendous yissurim during the final six years of  his life. His search for a cure spanned continents and hospitals the world-over. He left no stone unturned. Yet his joy  throughout was remarkable. His faith grew only stronger as his  suffering intensified.

He was an eved. And much like the eved Ivri, he “toiled for six years, and went free on the seventh.” This is his story. And the crux of it  applies to every one of us, as we face the hester panim of our times.
